Tadoussac

Tadoussac
   A town in Saguenay County, Quebec, situated at the confluence of the Saguenay River with the St. Lawrence. Founded in 1599 by Chauvin, and visited by Champlain in 1603 and 1609. In the days of the early French colonists, a centre of the seal fisheries and the fur trade.
